The RTC-840 from Aaeon is a fully rugged tablet computer built to withstand water, dust, vibration, shock and extreme temperatures found in a variety of harsh conditions. Certified to MIL-STD-810F and IP54 standards, the lightweight RTC-840 provides a secure, reliable solution to mobile computing in, offshore, petrochemical and transportation applications. The computer’s onboard ULV Intel® Core™ Duo processor features low power consumption which facilitates a battery life of 6 to 8 hours working time. The RTC-840 combines a resistive touchscreen with advanced optibond technology and an optional digitizer to ensure optimum screen viewability. Additional features include a handwriting recognition application and numeric keypad with programmable key function.
